Isso parece familiar? Bom, se isso já aconteceu com você alguma vez, pode culpar a “oxidação”.
O que é oxidação?
Pra quem faltou na aula de química, a oxidação é “uma reação entre um elemento químico, que ao entrar em contato com o oxigênio, perde elétrons e aumenta sua carga”.
WHAT? Assim fica difícil de entender… vamos simplificar: Sabe quando você corta uma maça e deixa ela por algumas horas em cima da mesa e quando você volta ela está super escura, parece até que enferrujou? Então… o mesmo tipo de processo de descoloração pode acontecer com a nossa base. Alguns ingredientes presentes na formula da base, tendem a deixar o tom da pele mais escuro, quase sempre puxado pro laranja, quando entram em contato com o oxigênio.
Como evitar?
Se você quer evitar que sua base oxide ao longo do dia, a primeira coisa que você precisa fazer é se preocupar com os ingredientes. Bases com Dióxido de Titânio, Ôxido de Zinco e Ôxido de Ferro na formula devem ser evitadas, e as que possuem vitamina E (e outras propriedade antioxidantes) vão ajudar muito! Também é aconselhável usar primer antes da base para criar como se fosse uma barreira entre a pele e a base – minha indicação é Veil Mineral Primer da Hourglass.
Outro jeito de combater a oxidação é usar um fixador de maquiagem, tipo o Fix Plus da MAC ou o All Nighter da Urban Decay.
Bases que não oxidam
É muito difícil garantir que sua base não vai escurecer, mas existem algumas bases em que o risco de oxidação é menor. Para quem procura uma cobertura de leve, recomendo a Velvet Matte Skin Tint da NARS, que tá mais pra um hidratante com cor do que pra uma base propriamente dita. Pra uma cobertura média, a Ultra HD da Make Up For Ever será uma ótima pedida. Mas se o que você está procurando é uma cobertura super mega alta, eu indico a Ultimate Finish da Vult.
