Sabe aqueles saquinhos de “Sílica Gel” que muitas vezes vem dentro de embalagens de produtos (como em caixas de sapatos, por exemplo)?
Há algum tempo, todos que eu encontrava iam parar no lixo. Até que descobri que eles podem ser muito úteis para a conservação do equipamento fotográfico!
Muitos de vocês já devem saber que as objetivas fotográficas são um local bastante propício para proliferação de fungos, e que eles podem danificar a lente.
Eu mesma já “perdi” uma lente assim e caso se interessem posso contar mais sobre isso em um outro post.
Alguns fotógrafos são bem sistemáticos para guardar o equipamento, possuem um local especifico, feito de vidro, de modo que a câmera e as lentes fiquem bem longe da umidade.
Eu não sou dessas, guardo meu equipamento dentro do armário, ou dentro da bolsa. E depois que passei a usar esses saquinhos de sílica, que ajudam a controlar a umidade do local onde está o equipamento, não tive mais problemas com os danados fungos.
Sempre deixo 2 ou 3 saquinhos espalhados pela bolsa da câmera, como ela é grandinha e dentro dela estão (quase sempre) a minha câmera, 3 ou 4 lentes, flash e mais algumas “tranqueirinhas”. Mas se a sua bolsa é menor e carrega menos lentes, 1 ou 2 saquinhos são mais que suficientes.
Então, ao invés de jogar os saquinhos de Sílica fora, guarde-os junto da câmera e assim você estará aumentando a vida útil das suas lentes/equipamento.
Lembrete: O saquinho deve permanecer lacrado e longe das crianças, ok?

Meu pai é desses que tem uma caixa de acrílico com uma lâmpada dentro, mas eu também guardo minha câmera num armário, vou começar a guardar as sílicas que encontrar. Sei que tem sílica pra vender que você pode reutilizar, ela é azul e conforme vai pegando umidade, fica rosa, aí depois você tem que por no forno pra secar e voltar a ficar azul.
